Brampton Malayalee Samajam is a non-profit, non-political, secular, and cultural organization whose principal objective is that of preserving and maintaining the culture and heritage of Kerala and also to promote the Malayalam language. BMS provides occasions for socialization among its members also provides a forum for its members to express and share their cultural talents.BMS organizes and maintains a youth wing within the association to transmit Kerala cultural heritage to our youth. It will also provide social services to the Malayalee communities as well as to the other communities. Every year BMS celebrates various festivals of Kerala.
BMS founded in October 2007 at 76 Groovewood Drive Brampton. We are the first Malayalee Samajam to organize the “Boatrace”in Canada in August 2009. BMS also provides to meet and exchange views for friendship, moral, social, artistic, and cultural heritage. Another major event of BMS is Miss Kerala Canada.
