Jesus Youth Ontario is excited to launch Dead Man Walking — an annual three-day residential gathering for high school graduates held from October 16 to 18.
Research shows that nearly two-thirds of young people who were active in their faith through high school drift away within just a few years of graduating. Not because they stop believing - but because no one walked with them through the transition. So when they are away from for the first time & the pressures of this new life kicks in, it puts distance between them, their family and their faith - Dead Man Walking intends to bridge that distance by connecting them to other faithful catholic students and the catholic campus ministries.
Then come the big questions on life, sexuality and dating. Hence we are bringing in, Jason Evert — one of the most sought-after Catholic speakers who has spoken to over a million young people across the world - and Steadfast Worship, Toronto's own favourite Catholic worship band.
Whether you are headed to university, taking a gap year, or starting work, these 3 days and 2 nights are for you. Evening concerts. Hikes and sports, and real conversations with others your age.
